Franca Theatrum is an international physical theatre company based in Stockholm and Gothenburg (Sweden). We work locally, regionally and internationally.

Franca provides plays and workshops in multiple languages: Swedish, Spanish and English.

The founders are Annie Thorold and Martina Viglietti.

Annie is an actor from Sweden. She has also trained and worked in Australia and Canada. Alongside acting she is currently writing her Masters thesis in communication. When she was in Melbourne working at the iconic La Mama Theatre, she met Martina. Years later they reunited in Stockholm.

 

Martina is an actor, physical theatre performer, journalist, radio and television host from Argentina. After finishing her Master in Acting in the Stockholm’s University of the Arts, she has teamed up with her collaborator Annie to create a project that combines acting, physical theatre and movement. Together they want to meet as many audiences as possible, not thinking languages or cultural differences are limitations.
